    Launched in 2012, today Yonda is SA's leading bicycle finance broker, and having partnered with SA's leading leisure finance banks we can get you the best rate and repayment terms possible. We work with over 200 stores nationwide, so chances are the shop you are buying through knows us.
  • How long does this take?
    Pre-approvals are done in minutes during office hours, provided you give us the docs we need. You will receive an email with further instructions thereafter. From there it's up to you and how fast you can get us the docs we need. From our side we can do a deal in a day, however, average deal time is 3 to 5 days though.

  • What docs do you need?
    The very minimum will be a quote for your bike, then: - If you are an FNB/FRB client, then we dont need proof of income at all. - Latest 3 months payslips ( not password protected or zipped ) If self-employed we do not require payslips. - Latest 3 months Bank Statements ( not password protected or zipped ) Statements not required if you bank with FNB. Must reflect latest 3 months’ salary payments. - Quote for the bike you are wanting to finance ( please ensure the bike’s year and model are included on the quote, as well as if it is new / used ) We may ask for your ID and proof of residence if the bank requests it. PHOTOGRAPHED DOCUMENTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED BY WESBANK. ( Cam Scanner not accepted by Wesbank )
  • I'm self-employed, how does that work?
    We can absolutely assist you to finance your bike. If you are an FNB or FRB customer, WesBank can access your bank accounts for income proof. If not, you will have to provide at least 3 months bank statements showing your income. You do NOT need payslips.
  • How much will I pay?
    Everyone is different. You will go through the normal application and scoring process for a loan. Rates depend on your credit worthiness. We guarantee the lowest rates in SA and they are fixed, I.E. you will pay the same interest rate for the duration of your loan. Used bike rates may be fixed or variable, depending on the banks scoring of your application.
  • Do I need to pay a deposit?
    Yes there is normally a 10% deposit payable on New assets. Used assets normally dont attract a deposit.
  • Can I settle early?
    Yes, and there is no penalty for additional payments or early settlement.
  • How long can I finance this for?
    It’s your decision: 12, 24, 36 or 48 months. Choose what suits your budget best.

  • Is there a minimum or maximum price?
    Yes, you can finance anything from R15 000 upwards. You can finance any value bicycle, but the maximum principal debt amount is R130000. IE, a R150000 bicycle requires a R20000 deposit.
  • Are there any additional fees?
    There will be an Initiation and Service fee added onto your deal, which can be financed along with your asset. These will be clearly laid out in the finance quote you will receive if your deal is approved. These fees are: 1. Wesbank Finance Initiation fee of R1207,50 incl. 2. Yonda service fee of R2975 incl. Our service fee covers admin, processing, FICA verification and managing the delivery of the item. As an example, using our average price, term and interest rate, these fees add R73 to your monthly repayment.
  • Do I have to have insurance?
    Yes insurance on your bicycle is mandatory by WesBank.
  • Do you offer Islamic/ Shariah compliant bike finance?
    Yes our partner WesBank has a fully compliant offering in the leisure space, where we sit. You can just complete the online app but just drop us a mail afterwards and we will ensure it follows the correct procedure.
